An absolute gem! If cleanliness is important to you this place is spotless. The unit is so well appointed you won't need a thing.. it's what I would call somewhat retro, comfy, cosy, roomy and quiet. Perfect.! Just 1 thing, hence the rating 4 & not a 5, the shower is over the bath, and that can be difficult for some guests. We have stayed one other time and this time with new hosts Ben and kirsten, (wonderful to deal with) we were not disappointed Cheers Caroline

Lovely Base on Basedow!
Positive: Unit C the Barrel Room is enormous for a couple. The bedroom in particular was very spacious and comfortable. Would be an excellent base for a multi day visit to the Barossa Valley. My single night stay didn't do it justice.
Negative: The aircon was running cold, which would be ok for a hot day, but it was a chilli September day for me. Some of the taps need some TLC also.
